yesterday, i had tentative plans to help my friend (amy, the czar) move. amy the czar (not to get confused with aimee or hot amy) lives in marshfield. i believe she was moving to another area of marshfield and had asked earlier in the week for some assistance with her moving this weekend.
now, i have helped a lot of people move. there is a long list of people who i have helped move... some more than once. similarly, my friend (marc) has helped a lot of people move as well... because at the time he had access to a truck. so naturally, both marc and i agreed to help amy move yesterday. unfortunately, amy did not require our assistance yesterday. so marc and i were off the hook.
so instead, i got to hang out with marc and kelley. too bad i suck at hanging out with marc and kelley. interestingly enough, it was a marc and kelley weekend for me. i hope they don't get tired of seeing me all the time.
anyway, we basically just hung out while karen was in quincy meeting with my friend (hot amy). karen and hot amy were meeting to discuss the upcoming course in the spring semester that they will be teaching at simmons college. (i foresee some chauffeuring in my future.)
marc decided to rent a video game (the mortal kombat versus dc universe game). he actually wasn't feeling too well, so he took a little cat nap shortly afterwards. so... kelley and i basically hammered away at the controllers as we played the game. it is an interesting fighting game where superhero characters can fight the mortal combat characters, etc. (like any typical fighting video game, the female anatomy is generally enhanced... and mortal kombat is no different.)
when karen arrived after her course planning, we were able to catch a couple of more episodes of the greatest show ever: buffy the vampire slayer. we saw "i only have eyes for you" and "go fish". of the two, i liked "go fish" the best. the former episode is about a poltergeist that wants forgiveness, whereas the latter episode is about the swim team turning into monsters.
the "go fish" episode also featured wentworth miller of "prison break" fame. he was one of the swimmers. and... i don't know about anyone else... but when did the boys swim team become the cool jocks in high school? at my high school... the swim team was anything but cool... or hot for that matter (and for the ladies... the episode featured xander in a little red speedo.)
needless to say, it was a fun marc and kelley weekend. like i said, i hope they don't get tired of seeing me and karen... because the season two finale is coming up for buffy!
