I Still Suck At Buffy The Vampire Slayer

last night was prince spaghetti night... only without the spaghetti... or prince for that matter... although it would be interesting to party like it's 1999 with prince. (and also interestingly enough, i just found out a couple of weeks ago what "little red corvette" was actually about... who knew? i should listen to song lyrics more often.) anyway, i did have some form of pasta for dinner.

yesterday, karen and i hung out with my friends (marc and kelley). as usual, the dinner was delicious. we had tortellini and garlic bread. (cue rachael ray's "yum-o" sound.) we usually hang out with marc and kelley on wednesdays. this week, however, wednesday happens to be christmas eve... so we decided to move our little get together up in the week.

naturally, we watched the greatest tv show ever: buffy the vampire slayer. now, i still suck at buffy the vampire slayer. we were able to watch the first three episodes of the third season: "anne", "dead man's party", and "faith, hope and trick". of the three episodes, i like "faith, hope and trick" the best. after all, that episode had the debut of a character played by boston's own... eliza dushku (who incidentally will be in a new tv show... called dollhouse... next year.)

on the show, eliza dushku plays the character, faith. she was also in such great films as "true lies" and "bring it on"... and she had a tv show called "tru calling" at one time. (i've never seen the show.) as well, according to my friend imdb, her birthday is in seven days (december 30th).

i don't know why i enjoy the faith character so much on the greatest tv show ever. i think it may be due to the complexity of her character. the faith character is good... yet bad... i guess it helps that she's hot too... not as hot as my friend (hot amy) of course...

anyway, i'm quite excited to watch the rest of season three. it is, after all, my favorite season of buffy the vampire slayer. too bad i'll have to wait a couple of weeks to watch more episodes.
