I Suck At Photoshop

today, i was finally able to work on a photoshop project for my friend (andrea).

last week, andrea had asked if i could air brush a picture of her from when she went to the kentucky derby. her intent was to use the air brushed picture of her for her profile picture on myspace or facebook or both. naturally, i agreed. ecstatic, andrea sent me the image file via email... which basically sat and sat in my inbox until today. (in my defense, i have been a little preoccupied with my landscaping project from hell in which i worked from the wee hours of the morning till the wee hours of night.)

anyway, today i was finally able to work on air brushing the picture of andrea (because the weather forecast called for rain today which meant i could not really work on that landscaping project from hell). i think my photoshop skills are a bit rusty because i suck at photoshop. it has been quite some time since i had to play around with the application. i think the last time i played around with photoshop was when i created a banner for hot amy's community website... which was a while ago.

needless to say, here is the air brushed picture of andrea:



if andrea does use the image for her profile picture, i hope all of her friends realize that she went to the kentucky derby. taken out of context, one might wonder why she is wearing a ginormous hat on her head... at least, that is what i would be thinking if i saw the picture and did not know andrea.

anyway, i hope she likes the picture.
