I Suck At Veronica Mars

yesterday, my bff (kerry), karen, and i were able to do something that we had not done for quite some time... watch veronica mars. now, i suck at veronica mars.

i had gotten the first season on dvd a while ago. as kerry was also interested in the show, we decided to watch the entire first season together. kerry and i initially began watching the show the weekend that karen went down to see my friend (pam) who lives in bon jovi's home state of new jersey. that... was a long while ago... in august.

since that time, we thought karen would also be interested in watching the show... so we waited for her to catch up to where kerry and i left off. as kerry and i really were not too far into the season, it did not take karen long to catch up at all.

anyway, things got a little busy... and the three of us never were in sync with our schedules to simply watch any more episodes... until yesterday. and it was a blast. i must say... i love the show.

granted, the show is not as good as the greatest show ever: buffy the vampire slayer... but it's close. karen, kerry and i were able to watch two complete discs out of the six disc season one set. eight episodes... not bad for one day...

as an added bonus, we may have also roped my favorite sister-in-law (janine) into the show. janine was over to use our dryer as her dryer recently crapped the bed. she did purchase a new dryer, but it has not been delivered yet. so in the meantime, janine asked to use our dryer.

needless to say, while janine was over using the dryer... she watched a few episodes with us. and now i think janine is hooked onto the show. yay veronica mars! i can't wait to watch the remaining episodes. we are so close to finishing the first season. hopefully all of our schedules will be in sync... so that we can finish the season.
