I Suck At Lost

last night, karen and i hung out with my friends (marc and kelley). i was definitely looking forward to hanging out with marc and kelley because we had planned to watch the second part of the "lost" premiere, as well as the episode that recently aired the night before. unfortunately, i suck at lost.

i must say, i love the show. in my opinion, lost is currently the best show on television right now. the writing for the show keeps viewers interested with its unique twists and never ending questions. so needless to say, i was quite excited to watch the episodes with marc and kelley.

before watching "lost", the four of us decided to grab dinner at the falafel king located in quincy. as usual, the falafel king was delicious. for anyone curious, i had the lamb kabob plate. (cue rachael ray's "yum-o" sound.) marc was craving the falafel king... and as we had not been there in quite some time, we decided to pick up dinner there.

as usual, it was a good time. unfortunately, i learned that i missed an opportunity to hang out with my friend (scott) who lives in new york. scott was back in massachusetts on tuesday and had left a voice mail message for me asking how things were. when i returned his call, i similarly left a message for him seeing how things were. it turns out that scott wanted to get everyone together for dinner at my friend's (garv) restaurant... blue-22 in quincy. sadly, i did not get that message until after the fact. bummer. it would have been great to see scott again.

anyway, marc and kelley hung out with scott at blue-22. one of the things that they were discussing was the super bowl... and whether my friend (ron) will host the event this year. in the past, ron has always hosted the super bowl. he throws a great party, whether it be a super bowl party or a pool party... or whatever. ron just knows how to party and have fun... and make sure that his guests have a great time. (for anyone curious, ron was the reason why scott and i got home at 5 in the morning after garv's wedding. and yes, ron was covered in the wedding cake.)

unfortunately, none of us have heard about whether ron will be hosting the super bowl this year. my friend (cass), however, did suggest to have all of us over should ron decide not to host the superbowl this year. so, we'll see how things pan out this weekend.

regardless, last night... with "lost"... was great.
