last year, my friends (jen, bill, hot amy, and andrea), karen and i decided to go to ireland together. needless to say, the trip was a fantastic time. i would go back to in a heartbeat. everything is just beautifully scenic in ireland... except the urinals. the urinals there were quite interesting to say the least.

a while ago, my friend (bill) had originally proposed the idea of getting everyone together again and watching the videos that i had created from our trip. i had created a slide show from everyone's pictures and set them to irish music. each day had its own pictures and music. i included other videos i had taken while on the trip. the entire thing filled up 3 dvds. i think the finished product came out nice. i even made copies for everyone for the holidays last year.
ah, the good times of ireland. it's amazing how fast a year goes by. for karen and i, we had the birth of our son (braden)... and we also had his unfortunate passing within that one year. i bet braden would have loved the motherland. i can picture him now... except instead of the neonatal intensive care unit knit hat... he'd be wearing a scally cap...
anyway, ireland was an amazing trip. things (and i guess i mean more like... my life) were simpler back then. although i will probably never regain my fairytale outlook on things again, i can always look back at ireland and reminisce about the good ol' times.
so i don't know. maybe i will actually watch the videos again and think about braden with a scally cap. we'll see...

The DVDs are incredible. I keep telling you that you can't watch them without me. Next weekend after I get back.
