saturday, karen and i had dinner at the british beer company located in pembroke. too bad i suck at the british beer company. hmm... i seem to go to the british beer company a lot... perhaps i don't suck at it.
anyway, karen's cousin (karlene) and her husband (tommy) were down visiting. karlene and tommy live in lowell. they may tell you that "there is a lot to love about lowell"... don't be fooled by them. just kidding.
karlene is the godmother of my niece (kaleigh). as disney's "high school musical 3" was recently released in the theaters, karlene and tommy thought it would be nice to bring kaleigh to see the movie. if you ask me, i think tommy just wanted to see the movie and kaleigh was a pawn in his master plan to go watch the movie. i'm just kidding... although karlene and tommy are big fans of the high school musical series.
as they were down this way, they decided to see if karen and i would be interested in grabbing dinner. interestingly enough, neither karlene nor tommy have ever been to the british beer company. there apparently is no british beer company located by them... proof that there is not a lot to love about lowell.
anyway, i think karlene and tommy enjoyed the food at the british beer company. (i know i enjoy the food. cue rachael ray's "yum-o" sound.) it was good to see both of them. karen and i haven't really seen them in quite some time... aside from my son's (braden) service of course. it was good to catch up with them.
apparently, karlene watches that dreadful 90210 show... the new 90210. interestingly enough, her brother (matthew) also watches the show. yikes.
