I Suck At Red Robin

today, after our day of shopping bliss, karen, my bff (kerry) and i had dinner at red robin.

now, i suck at red robin. i have never been to red robin.

apparently, kerry has been to red robin when she lived down in virginia. she raved about the burgers and the all you can eat steak fries.

for anyone curious, the whole topic of red robin started when we were watching "the phantom gourmet" after returning from our shopping excursion at target. a commercial or something aired about red robin, to which kerry informed karen and i about how good the place was. since neither karen nor i have ever been to one, we decided to look for the nearest location of the restaurant... which happened to be colony place in plymouth.

from there, the rest is history. we decided to go to colony place and eat at red robin. in exchange of course, kerry had to spend another night at our place. it seems like a fair trade to me.

anyway, kerry was right. the red robin was quite delicious. i had a sante fe burger (cue rachael ray's "yum-o" sound) and an ungodly amount of steak fries and diet soda. yes, my nutritional downfall is portion control. i didn't become so girthly huggable eating just bread and water. besides, we can't all be hot like hot amy.

adding to the pleasurable dining experience, kerry treated karen and i for the dinner. what can i say? kerry is just an amazing bff. it was very nice of her. so thanks bff!
