last night, i met up with karen and kerry for dinner. we ended up at not your average joes. because i suck at not your average joes, it was the second time within the week that karen and i ate there. what can i say... they have good bread.
anyway, karen and kerry had previously went out to watch the chick flick "definitely maybe" starring ryan reynolds. apparently, they enjoyed the movie but wanted to see some shirtless ryan reynolds action. sadly, there was no ryan reynold shirtless action. (he does have nice abs.) needless to say, i didn't know kerry and karen had a likewise affinity for his body. it was interesting to find out.
karen and kerry had originally talked about meeting up with jen and hot amy after the movie. jen and hot amy were going bar hopping. they are such lushes. just kidding. more appropriately, they were probably on the "prowl" and their usual hot spot of sarsfields was not up to par in the male factor.
as it was late (and kerry had to work bright and early in the morning), karen and kerry ended up with me instead as the consolation prize. we had a great time at not your average joes. interestingly enough, not only was it the second time within the week that karen and i ate at not your average joes, it was the second time within the week that karen and i saw kerry.
it was definitely fun to just hang out with kerry. as i was sitting there at not your average joes, i started to think that kerry and karen should hang out some more. last night had that old familiar feeling to it where it was just a bunch of long time friends hanging out, laughing, etc. it was a definitely a fun time and as selfish as this sounds... i'm glad karen and kerry ended up at not your average joes instead of bar hopping last night so that i could be a part of that feeling.

and then to the Commonwealth (the bar formerly known as Pat Flanagan's.) It's much improved - they did renovations and the clientel seems better - might be sort of a replacement for Sarsfields - a place you know you can go at the end of the evening that will have plenty of people and dancing....
I had fun last night too... hmm, Ryan Reynolds and yummy bread :)
i like ryan reynolds too! although i didn't like his when he was a twerpy teenager on that stupid show my sister used to watch.
