all right, so maybe i didn't really have anything to do with trading johan santana from the twins to the mets... for prospects...
but as a member of red sox nation, i had to chime in with my thoughts... which are as follows: at least it's not the yankees!
actually, it's a good thing that johan ended up with the mets, because he's now in the national league and he won't have to face the red sox that much. i don't know how omar minaya even pulled off the trade, because the twins could have gotten (and probably should have gotten) more for johan santana.
oh well. better luck next time. i'm sure my friend, "hot" amy, is ecstatic about the trade of johan to the mets, not that she is a new york fan or anything. her reasons are purely biased by his good looks as she is a diehard jacoby ellsbury fan... or as she would call him... jay-cub-bee... who was rumored to be one of the pieces (if not john lester) in bringing johan to the red sox.
and really, who could blame her? jacoby is an attractive guy... or so i've been told...
