On Friday, I fed my movie addiction by watching yet another film. That movie: Jennifer's Body. Now I suck at Jennifer's Body.

The film stars Amanda Seyfriend with Megan Fox as Jennifer. Truth be told, I was not expecting much from the horror film because most movies starring Megan Fox are not that good. But, I figured I had to watch the movie because of Amanda Seyfried, not because she is shiny, but because of her ties to Veronica Mars. (For anyone curious, she originally auditioned for the role of Veronica Mars, but ended up with the role of Lilly Kane.) Speaking of Veronica Mars, Kyle Gallner who played "Beaver" in Veronica Mars was also in the movie.
Anyway, the plot is about two childhood best friends who live in a small rinky-dink town. Amanda Seyfried plays the insecure friend, while Megan Fox plays the slutty popular high school girl. While attending a show at a local dive bar, Jennifer gets kidnapped by the band and is sacrificed to Satan so that the band can receive fame and fortune. Unfortunately, since Jennifer was not a virgin, the sacrifice goes slightly awry and Jennifer becomes possessed by a demon. And then the body count begins as Jennifer needs to feed in order to survive.
I actually was quite surprised that I enjoyed the movie as much as I did.
