I Suck At Target

With very little plans for the night, Karen and I decided to do some Christmas shopping. Granted, the shopping was mainly for ourselves. We ended up at Target, located in Hanover.

Now, I suck at Target. But, I must say, I do love the Target that is in Hanover. I probably do not love it as much as my friend (Kelley), but I do enjoy going there.

Anyway, a while ago Target had a folding table on sale in the circular. We had talked about getting a folding table for the longest time. Whenever we had needed a table, we always had to borrow one from my favorite sister-in-law (Janine), which is yet another reason why she is my favorite. So rather than continually borrow a folding table, we decided to get one ourselves. The problem was, when we went to buy one during the advertised circular, the store was all out of them. So we ended up with a rain check.

Several days ago, we had noticed that the folding tables were stocked in Target. (It is simply coincidence that we have been to Target two times within the past four days. We don't really go there that often.) So with no plans tonight, we decided to go to Target and pick up the table.

It turns out that the trip to Target was rather fun. Karen and I ran into my favorite brother-in-law (PJ) and my friend (Gretchen). PJ and Gretchen were doing some shopping of their own. It was a pleasant and fun surprise.

Oddly enough, Karen and I seem to run into people we know while at Target. We ran into my friends (Ron and Trinh) and their family not too long ago. We ran into PJ and Gretchen tonight. Heck, tonight Karen and PJ even ran into someone whom they both knew. Karen said she also thinks one of the customers behind us in line looked familiar too.

All in all, it was quite interesting and fun. And yes, Karen and I did end up getting the folding table.
