I Suck At Wearing New Sneakers

i suck at wearing new sneakers.

like most articles of clothing that i own (sneakers included), i generally wear them until they fall apart. yes, i'm such a fashionista.

anyway, today i wore my new sneakers out in public for the first time. maybe the reason i wore them today was because i thought it was such a beautiful morning when i woke up, or maybe i was just excited that kerry had spent the night. (kerry had pointed out the scenic view from our workout/office area overlooking the pond this morning. it was very pretty with the sun coming out.)

don't get me wrong, i have worn my new sneakers a few times when i used the treadmill at the house. so, it's not like i haven't worn my new sneakers since i bought them. (i bought the sneakers at the beginning of the year. in what has almost become an annual tradition, i have purchased new sneakers the past few years on new year's day. so apparently, there is one thing to love about lowell. karen and i typically go to lowell for new year's... hence the lowell reference.)

needless to say, i'm wearing my asics sneakers and it's making me happy.
