I Still Suck At High Intensity Interval Training

the overachiever that i am, i decided to squeeze a workout into the normal three day per week routine of this program. thus, if all goes according to plan, i should have done four workouts in this first week.

that said, i still suck at high intensity interval training. during my lunch break from work, i attempted to try to workout along the charles river. let's just say, i still ran out of gas after the first minute or so (it was hard to keep track of time as i was keeled over, gasping for air for most of the workout). after what i thought was four minutes, i happily stopped.

also, mental note... remember to drink more than 32 oz. of water before running. my calf muscles are tightening up right now as i type this. they started to tighten up as i was walking up beacon hill. that was not fun.

speaking of water, i have also decided to do a few other things to quantify this workout. i have decided to make a journal of my food intake (35 gummy bears so far today) and also do a weekly weigh-in. i don't own a scale, but i was thinking that i could use my friends' (marc and kelley) as i see them weekly.

anyway, hopefully the next workout will be better...
